Lee Williams is set to tee off at 2:00 CDT Thursday for the Nationwide Tour's Fort Smith Classic presented by Stephens Inc. The tournament will be held at Hardscrabble Country Club in Fort Smith, Ark. May 8-11. Players will compete for their share of a $550,000 purse.

The Fort Smith Classic will be Williams' first Nationwide Tour event of 2008. In 2007 Williams finished the season with two Top-10 finishes and 4 Top 25 finishes in a total of 17 Nationwide Tour events played, earning $57,019. Williams also played in two PGA Tour events last season. He made the cut in the Buick Open, finishing the event with a 5-under par 283 and an $11,152 share of the tournament's purse.
